Interested in NESRA Membership?

If so, please be sure to review our membership information below outlining how NESRA membership works and the differences between Associate Membership and Full Membership.

Then complete the registration form at the bottom of the page.

NOTE: Any person interested in NESRA Membership must also register and participate in the NESRA Forum. Forum registration is simple, but is a separate registration process as noted on the forum homepage. Read below for more details.

Registration:

You must complete two registrations when requesting NESRA Membership as follows:

  • A Request for Membership using our Membership Application Form below
&

The Membership Application Form below officially logs your membership request and the Forum Registration creates a separate forum account so you can begin posting in the NESRA Forum. The main site and the forum run on different software platforms, which is why you need to register twice (sorry for the inconvenience.)

Anyone wishing to become a NESRA Full Member MUST post and be active in the forum regularly (see below). NESRA has two types of membership as follows. Both types of membership require that the member be at least a minimum of 18 years of age or older.

Types of Membership:

1. Associate Member:

This is a free membership for those looking to associate with the group, participate in discussion groups/forums, online chats, etc. Associate Member benefits include:
  • Forum Participation: We encourage ALL Associate Members to sign-up for our Forum and participate (it is a separate sign-up process for Forum.) The NESRA Forum is the place to find out the latest on what's going on with NESRA and an active place to discuss and learn new ideas, theories, and strategies. Associate Members looking to become Full Members NEED to post on forum regularly (see below.)

  • Associate Field Training Program: Associate Members are eligible to participate in our Field Research Training Program.

  • Website Comments: Associate Members can also log-in to our website and make comments on posted stories and blogs and participate in topic polls, etc.

  • Website Member Account: By submitting an Associate Membership request, you are also creating a member online account here at TeamNesra.net. Associate Members can easily be moved to Full Member status online after grace period (see below), allowing them Full Member access and additional Full Member website blog and publishing features here on our website when ready.

2. Full Member:

This is a paid membership ($10 one-time fee currently) that provides the Full Member with additional benefits. Full Member benefits include:
  • Field Investigator Status: Access to Detailed Witness Encounter Reports we receive from witnesses and ability to investigate and follow-up on such reports.

  • Expedition Access: Ability to participate in and plan NESRA Bi-annual Field Research Expeditions.

  • Voting Rights: Ability to review and vote on organizational business.

  • Board Candidacy: Ability to run for elected board posts.

  • Personal Web Blog: Access to publish and maintain your own, personal research and commentary Member Blog here on TeamNesra.net

Obviously, Full Membership is for the person who wants to take a more active role in the organization and who wants to participate in sanctioned field research outings...

Grace Period for Full Membership:

Typically, we start everyone off as an Associate Member and, after a grace period, look at Full Membership (if they are interested in becoming a full member at that time...) The grace period allows the associate member to better get to know the organization and, in turn, the organization to get to know them. Since Full Members do have access to sensitive witness and location-specific encounter and research info., we endeavor to get to know people before offering Full Member status.

Associate Members looking to become Full Members should sign-up for and post regularly on our NESRA Forum. Forum is the best place for Full Members and Associates to get familiar with one another (as best can be expected in an online capacity.)

If you have any questions about membership, do not hesitate to contact NESRA - Please visit our Contact Us Form to submit your questions.

Thank you.
