As many questions about the details, timeline, complicity and possible falsified documents remain with the events surrounding the Georgia Bigfoot Hoax, Steve Kulls will endeavor to answer all questions he can on the next installment of The Gray Area Radio Show with hosts, Melissa Hovey and Monica Rawlins.

Steve Kulls was interviewed today on Fox News and definitively stated that Tom Biscardi lied to him about the Georgia Bigfoot body, claiming it was real even though he knew first hand that it was not.
The Interview on Fox & Friends Morning Show 8/21/08:
This is certainly a step in the right direction for Kulls, who has been besmirched by many in the Bigfoot research community of late for his very measured and limited statements about this hoax, what he witnessed and the events surrounding it. The handling of which has been uncharacteristic compared to Kull's usual "tell-it-like-he-sees-it" investigative approach in past investigations.
With a hoax of this magnitude and the parties involved, perhaps the specter of litigation may be lurking here and limiting the flow of information. Often times what you believe to be the truth is not relevant; it's what you can PROVE that matters. Kulls insinuates he's still digging for proof and mentions an initial letter from Searching For Bigfoot Inc. that specified initial DNA results were Human and Ape in characteristic genotype. Given the actual DNA results released by scientist, Curt Nelson, who conducted the DNA testing, we now know that was NEVER the case. Securing that letter will certainly help prove what Kulls believes is the truth: Biscardi Was Likely Complicit in this Hoax after His Initial Viewing of the Freezer-bound Costume in Georgia.

Steve Kulls, the SquatchDetective, announced the confirmation of this hoax tonight on his SquatchDetective Radio Show. Evidently, the charlatans from Georgia, Matt Whitton and Rick Dyer, have disappeared... gone with an undisclosed sum of money supplied by Searching for Bigfoot Inc. under terms of a contract they signed.

While there seems little doubt that Mr. Whitton and Dyer's perpetrated hoax may also constitute fraud, are they the only parties to blame? For instance, if Mr. Biscardi inspected and handled this alleged Bigfoot body himself when partially thawed before he took custody of it (as he claimed he did on Fox News and during the 8/15 press conference), why couldn't he tell this was a costume and not a real body? Did he know the specimen was indeed a costume from the onset; choosing to bend the truth in the public eye for some ulterior motive? As yet, we don't know.
Notably, on 8/19/2008, Matt Whitton was Terminated by The Clayton County Police for participating in a hoax and possible fraud.
UPDATE: 8/19/2008 - Rick Dyer, in hiding, has posted his own take on what went down (click video below)... Looks like everyone involved is pointing fingers at each other... Of course, as known hoaxer and liar, Mr. Dyer has absolutely no credibility whatsoever at this point:

Oddly, there wasn't any substantial discussion during the show of the culpability of Mr. Biscardi in this sham except by caller, Kathy Strain, from the AIBR, who point blank asked Mr. Kulls why he was protecting Mr. Biscardi from this culpability. That question was not answered adequately and needs to be.

Tom Biscardi from Searching for Bigfoot Inc. and Matt Whitton and Rick Dyer form BigfootTrackers.com held their press conference on 8/15 at noon Pacific time to give details on their alleged Bigfoot body found. The press conference was rather benign and little information of any substance was released. The two gentlemen from Georgia recounted their story for the press on how they found and collected the alleged creature and how they became involved with Mr. Biscardi. Biscardi claimed he was in the process of assembling a team of scientists to examine the alleged body and that, eventually, an autopsy of the body would be performed and that select media outlets would be invited to film and observe the procedures. At the end of the conference, Mr. Biscardi held up two photos he said would be released to the media today, (1) of a close-up of the creatures mouth showing teeth, tongue, lip and chin detail proving the head was not a mask as claimed by some skeptics and, (2) a sylvan shot of an alleged live Bigfoot creature walking in/around the area that Mr. Whitton and Mr. Dyer found and collected the alleged dead body in Northeast Georgia.
Results of (3) DNA tests of tissue samples from the body were also released. The DNA sequencing tests were completed by Research Scientist, Curt Nelson of the University of Minnesota. The results were:
- Inconclusive/unreadable
- Human
- Opossum
It is unknown why the gentlemen held this press conference today and offered such limited and inconclusive information.
While the content was uninspiring, the build-up to the presser was tantamount. Numerous Bigfoot sites like Bigfoot Forums, Cryptomundo.com and even NESRA overloaded with user traffic and went down for short periods of time... CNET says that social network, Twitter, Went Berzerk and the search engines have see Huge Spikes in bigfoot-related query traffic. It would seem the internet backbone held up... Will the backbone of the alleged creature do the same, or are we simply dealing with a rug-covered sack of potatoes?

There are many varying opinions on the legitimacy of this alleged evidence. We at NESRA, will not speculate on the legitimacy of this story and alleged evidence until more information and/or proof is released and Mr. Kulls has completed his assessment and released his statement.
